About Linda
Separation Consultant and Family/Life Coach
Linda is passionate about helping recently separated women and their children. She knows the struggles these women face and the challenges they must overcome to reclaim a life of independence and control. To reach as many of these women as possible, Linda created ”Separation Navigation”, a Company dedicated to assisting women as they find their way through the separation process. Her unique background as an airline pilot/family coach allows her to blend discipline with compassion, as she takes these women, checklist style, from where they are to where they want to be.
There is a saying in the flying world that warns: “when something goes wrong, fly the airplane first”. In other words, trouble shoot AFTER you have the plane under control. Linda easily translates that advice into the world of divorce by starting with the basic needs of the women and their children and then eventually working on their dreams and lifestyle of choice.
Linda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Flight Technology and Business Management from Western Michigan University, but transitioned out of the Airline industry and into life coaching after the events of September 11th. She was certified as a Life Coach through Coach Training Alliance and continued with advanced training when she realized that her life purpose was to help single mothers. She earned her parent/Teen Coaching Certificate through the Parent as Coach Academy and ultimately became a Certified Family Coach through New Generations International.
Linda is also the creator of the 100 DAY SINGLE MOM CHALLENGE and the 100 DAY SINGLE MOM EFFECTIVE PARENTING CHALLENGE; on-line programs for prioritizing the essentials and working your way back to the life of your dreams. In addition, she has created a support network for single mothers entitled “5 minutes of peace”, a group setting where single mothers can get together and find ways to add much needed peace into their very hectic, often overwhelming lives.
